1. WHITECARD – CONSTRUCTION INDUCTION CARD
- This is the only certificate required to work on construction sites.
- A course about work safety that every person who wants to work in this field has to take.
- The cost is around AUD$150 and it is a course that lasts only 1 day, so you leave able to work the next day.
2. FIRST AID – PRIMEIROS SOCORROS
- It is a course that leaves you able to operate first aid and can earn you a steady job, especially if you show that you have experience in this area.

3. TRAFFIC CONTROL TICKET – CONTROL TRAFFIC WITH THE STOP-SLOW BAT
- A mandatory course for anyone who wants to be a traffic operator.
- It is very common to see women in this position and the pay is high.
- The course costs on average AUD$200, and this is easily recouped in a shift.
4. CONFINED SPACE ENTRY TICKET
- License to work in confined/enclosed spaces.
- If you are interested in mining, this license is mandatory.
5. WORKING AT HEIGHTS TICKET
- It is required for workers who will perform activities directly at heights.
- If you want to work with scaffolding, for example, they will require this license.
- Many companies can afford to pay you.
6. FORKLIFT LICENSE – HIGH RISK WORK LICENSES
- It is a range of licenses to operate long-range machines.

- The salary for a professional forklift operator is on average AUD$35 per hour, which is well worth the investment.
