After completing this course, students will be prepared to work as a Civil Engineering Draftsman in industry.
Students will learn modern technologies such as design and 3D modeling using current software. By studying this course, you will acquire advanced technical knowledge and research skills, and you can specialize in production planning and resource management for engineering operations.
If students don't want to start working right after graduation, this program can also be a path to a bachelor's degree. It offers credits that can be used toward university engineering programs.

Graduates will have skills in several areas of civil engineering, including:
- Prepare sketches, graphs, tables, plans, and designs for projects such as drainage, water supply, sewage systems, roads, airports, dams, bridges, and other construction projects
- Conduct and coordinate fieldwork and laboratory testing
- Understand work instructions, use correct procedures and choose appropriate equipment
- Collect and analyze data, as well as make necessary calculations
- Estimate material costs and ensure that works comply with specifications, rules and contracts.
- Inspect civil engineering works and organize maintenance and repairs
- Testing building materials and soils, as well as collecting data for traffic surveys

Requirements
1) Students must be at least 18 years of age.
2) Having finished high school with a good performance in mathematics.
3) It is mandatory to present proof of your English level.
- Accepted tests: IELTS, PTE, among others.
- Example: IELTS with a minimum overall score of 6.0, and no band below 5.5 (or equivalent).
- The test must be valid (taken within the last 2 years) at the time of visa application.
- Some educational institutions offer an internal English test (taken at the school itself) that can be used to prove the required level of English.
Exemptions:
You may be exempt from the English language requirement if:
– are a citizen and hold a passport from the United Kingdom, USA, Canada, New Zealand or Ireland.
– are enrolled in a major course that is a registered school course, an intensive English language course (ELICOS), a course registered to be taught in another language, or a registered postgraduate research course.
– have studied for at least 5 years in English in one or more of the following countries: Australia, United Kingdom, USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa or Ireland.
